Sounds like there will be some really good ideas.
I'm just sorry that it also likes like something from our US cousins - using ready-made options.
It would be so friendly and happy making to get a recipe or cook book offer that made things from scratch - and added the jars or cans as quick options

Hi Christine!
Thanks for your comments.
This is just one of the snacks from the book, there are plenty of recipes in there which are from scratch. '7 Days of Superfood on a Budget' is more of a weight loss/health friendly manual on how to eat and cook healthily whilst saving both time and money. I like to think it will be used on a daily basis to help people eat better rather than just on a weekend when they have time to cook. Unfortunately people are really busy these days and making things like yoghurt, apple puree and granola from scratch can be quite time consuming...when all you want to do is throw together a quite snack. Often, it can also be more expensive to make things from scratch. Saying that - I'm fortunate enough to be able to dedicate more time than most to food preparation and the apple puree above is home-made. ;-)
